Meet Destinee
I’m a wife, mama to two beautiful babes and full-time working registered dental hygienist. I’m passionate about caring for my patients, staying active, and writing, which is what inspired me to start this blog in the first place. My goal here is to both inspire and motivate others in whatever capacity that may be. I strive to make an honest and authentic connection with my readers.
My Six Truths
Philippians 4:13 “For I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength.”
2. I genuinely love what I do for “work” and find great joy in caring for my patients. Being a dental hygienist is more than just “cleaning teeth.”
3. I believe that placing intentional focus and effort on your marriage is imperative to the health and growth of that relationship, and should never be downplayed, nor placed on the back-burner.
4. Being a mother is the most challenging, yet rewarding role I’ve ever been gifted the opportunity to take on. I dream of and strive to provide a life for my children that far exceeds that of my own.
5. You are in control of what you consume; be it food/beverage, the details of events happening in our world, political ideologies, the gossip that circulates in your workplace, influence that stems from social media, etc. – what you fuel your body with feeds your mental and physical state of wellbeing. Choose wisely.
6. Learning is a lifelong endeavor.
